pumpkin art...

Have I said how much I love fall?!!! It is definitely my favorite season! The colors, pumpkins, cooler weather, comfy cardis, Thanksgiving...what more could you ask for?! So needless to say I have a FEW fall decor items around the house.

For Valentines Day I had made this framed heart punch art inspired by Ali Edwards butterfly one. So I took that inspiration again and made this pumpkin art! I stared with a piece of pumpkin cardstock and used some ink to distress it a bit. Next I stamped some pumpkins using an older Stampin Up! set and and some Basic Grey patterned paper. I used the curly label punch to punch out some brown backgrounds for the pumpkins. I adhered them to the cardstock base and then used dimensionals to adhere the pumpkins!
I also love to use scrabble letters to spell out words for different occasions. With this grouping I have spelled out HARVEST.

By using things I already had on hand and repurposing a vase...this whole grouping was super cheap to put together. I only bought 3 more berry springs to fill in with what I had {and I got them half off at Hobby Lobby...about 99 cents each!}.

I saw your comment on tatertots and jello and had to check it out! I love your grouping!I think that fall & halloween truly are the most fun & creative to decorate for. I need to get my stuff out and get decorating. I keep seeing all kinds of fab ideas on blogs though I want to try some new stuff!
I also love that you used the scrabble letters! I am on the hunt for a few scrabble games at thrift stores for this idea and for a few others. Problem I'm having is finding the wood ones, all I find is plastic. And to me that doesn't "spell" fall as much as the wood ones do. I'm new to your blog but I'm going to book mark it! Thanks for the great idea!

Oh my goodness! Those are so cute! I've seen the butterfly one before and have always loved it. This is a good twist on it. You could do little trees for Christmas too. Or snowflakes. Oooh, I might have to try that cuz I love cutting snowflakes. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Halloween hoops!
