Veggie Tales DVD...

Little Bit is all about Veggie Tales these days. It is about the only thing she wants to watch! So when I saw that Big Idea was giving away a free DVD just for signing up for their newsletter...I jumped on the offer. There were 3 DVDs to choose from. You do have to pay shipping, but it was only $2.99. You can't beat that price for a DVD your child is going to love...at least I know mine will!!!

Menu Plan Monday

This is a short menu week for me....but extra yummo because I'm using veggies from our garden! Little Bit and I are heading to a family 4th of July get together.

Monday ~ crock pot chicken fajitas, chips & salsa

Tuesday ~ almond coconut tilapia, cherry tomatoes, sauteed zucchini

Wednesday ~ vegetable beef stew, salad, bread

Garden goodies...

Summer is great!...well, don't love the heat but having a garden is just wonderful! Thursday night we went out to check on its progress....these are the goodies we harvested so far. The last of the lettuce, a couple handfuls of green beans, 2 onions, 2 zucchini, carrots and a couple cherry tomatoes! So of course I had to use it up! For dinner I decided to make meatloaf {using onion it it}, green beans and sauteed zucchini! It was great! Had more sauteed zucchini tonight and plan to make some zucchini bread tomorrow. Still waiting for the tomatoes to get fully ripe. This was our first attempt at a garden and it is a great success!!!
