This past weekend we had a nice little getaway. We went to Des Moines & Omaha....making stops along the way. Like at this one rest area that had some play equipment. Little Bit enjoyed the opportunity to stretch her legs and play..."parks" are her favorite!
Once in Des Moines we enjoyed an Iowa Cubs game and their downtown market. Then off to Omaha for a wonderful trip to the zoo! Little Bit loved the train...we rode it around 1 and a half times! 
We also got to visit with some dear friends while in Omaha. {Thanks to Jackie & Mike for your wonderful hospitality! We so enjoyed our time together.} Before heading out of town we strolled through the Omaha Botanical Gardens!
