Deals of the Day...Big Lots, Jo-Ann's

Today, the little one and I went to check out the deals at Big Lots. Don't make it there too often, so thought it was time to go. I was kind of disappointed. Was hoping to find some good baby deals, but that was a bust. I did get some 100 calorie packs for $1.30 and $1.50 a box, plus a Veggie Tales DVD for $4.00.

We also stopped in Jo-Ann Fabrics and got this ribbon for .50 each! I probably should have bought more, but I am trying to only buy what I know I can use.

Here are a few more cards I made at my mom's last week. With just some scraps of paper, a few stamps, and limited accessories, I think we got some cute results!

Paper Pad

I got this pad of scrapbook paper at Target last week. I always like to browse their scrapbooking section when I am there to see what great deals I can find. My eye is automatically drawn towards the little red stickers!

This paper pad was 1/2 off! It came out to about 10 cents per sheet. The pad comes with 4 sheets each of 12 coordinating designs in a baby girl theme! Perfect for working on my daughters album!

Mom's broken foot

I just got back from my mom's...she broke her foot 3 weeks ago and my little one and I spent most of this past week with her. She is a get up and go person, so to be cooped up with a broken foot for weeks is hard to handle. Since we both love crafts, I thought it might help boost her spirits if we made some cards! I set up a card table next to her bed with all the supplies we would need. We both made about 6 or 8 cards before the baby needed some attention! Pictured is one of the cards I made.

Deals of the Day...Target, Walgreens

I love Target! I can always find great stuff there. Today I got some late Valentine gifts for my sisters...75% off! Plus I got some just too cute pants for my daughter to wear next year...about $1.00 a pair.

Next, I was on to Walgreens. I had a coupon for $3.99 Walgreens brand diapers (haven't tried them before, but for that price who could pass it up!) and .99 wipes. Also, picked up a couple of the BOGO Jane cosmetics using the $2/1 coupon here.
