Target Deals...

There are a couple Target deals that I thought were worth sharing this week.  We eat cereal like it's going out of style...lol!  So anytime I can get a great deal I'm all over it.  This week at Target select Kellogg's products are on sale and when you buy 5 you get a $5 gift card back!  I bought 5 boxes of cereal at 2.75 each and used $2.50 in coupons, then got back a $5 gift card!  That means after coupons and gift card I paid $1.25 a box! 

Eggo waffles are also part of the deal at $2.00 a box.  I bought 5 of those and got another gift card back.  These are only $1/box after the gift card....sweet! 

I also picked up some gummy vitamins for Little Bit.  The L'il Critters Kids' Gummy Vitamins were $3.99 at my store and if you bought 2 you got a $5 gift card!  There is also a $1.00 coupon that you can print twice to make this an even sweeter deal.  After coupons and gift card that is only .49 each!

sweet summer savings...

I was in Target on Monday and found these Sweet Summer Savings coupon booklets.  At my store they were laying on the counter at the fitting room.  The coupons don't expire until 7/26/14 and are for various grocery items.  In the back there are coupons for $1 off a $2 or higher up & up sunscreen item and one for $1 off any $3 or higher up & up item. 

target finds...

When I was in Target last week I stumbled upon 2 great clearance deals....at least I thought they were pretty great! 

First up is adhesive!  Since I craft quite a bit I'm always running out of double sided adhesive.  My favorite kind to use is a roller dot adhesive.  I really like American Crafts and Scotch brands.  So when I saw this Scotch adhesive roller on clearance for $1.12 a roll, I snatched a few up...{probably should have gotten more}!  You only get about half the amount of adhesive than in the other Scotch one but it is still a better price!  If you are a crafter and you are going to be in Target soon....check out both the stationary and school supply section for this clearance deal!  I found it both places.

Next is this water bottle.  I bought it for us to take to Disney {when we go in a few weeks!}.  We usually take a mister bottle but the nozzle sometime falls off and it doesn't always spray well, etc.  But Little Bit loves having one with us and it is great for the super hot days...and good entertainment sometimes when waiting in long lines!  So when I saw this water bottle/mister for only $2.38 I thought I would try it out!  It has a little handle to hang from our stroller.  The opening is large enough to put ice in, so the water will be super cold!  It also eliminates one thing we have to carry....we won't have to bring a water bottle and a mister.  Since we are flying, the lighter we can pack the better!  {I found this in the sporting goods section.}

...EXPIRE tomorrow 5/27! If you haven't used your $3.00 off a Mossimo apparel item, you might want to check the clearance and see if you can score a deal like I did this week! I have been wanting to get a new white long sleeve shirt to wear underneath things. I was just browsing the clearance rack the other day and happened to find this shirt marked down to $3.24. I was able to use the $3.00 off coupon and only pay .24 cents for it!!!

Have I mentioned how much I love Target?!!! ;) It is pretty much mine and Little Bits favorite place to shop and just hang out! Well a few weeks ago I got an email from them with a link to request a free bag of beauty samples. It came in the mail today....yay! I just love fun mail and free stuff to boot!

krazy couponing and a target surprise!

So I was watching the Nate Berkus Show yesterday and it was on couponing! They had the Krazy Coupon Ladies on to show a family of 7 how to drastically reduce their grocery bill. I decided to check out their site and think it is pretty great! I really like their feature Let's Shop. Each Sunday they will post their "strategy" for the week, basically the best deals they don't want to miss. Three of the 5 places they listed were Walgreens, CVS and Target which are my top 3 places to check deals each week too! Plus they update their blog throughout the week with new deals and freebies.

Little Bit and I went to Target today ready to snag some coupon deals. Before shopping we got something to eat at the Pizza Hut Express inside our Target store. I like to carry my fountain soda around with me while shopping but I am always afraid it will get knocked over in the cart. Well today I discovered that Target has a cart cup holder that you just clip on to your shopping cart!

When we were waiting in line to order our food, I saw a lady 2 or 3 in front of us ask for one and clip it on her cart....so I followed her lead. And it was FREE....so I am saving mine for the next Target trip!

Target Deals...

In a recent coupon insert there were coupons for $2.50 off Electrasol Finish products. The coupons expire on January 31st, so while I was in Target today I decided to use them. To my surprise they actually had some Electrasol on clearance for 3.64. So with my 2.50 coupon...I only paid 1.14 for a box of 20 dishwasher tabs.

Target also has a great deal on diapers this week. Buy 3 jumbo packs of Huggies and/or Pampers diapers...on sale for $8.99 each...and get a $5 Target gift card at check out. There are some printable Huggies coupons on coupons.com and Target's website {these do say manufacturer coupons so they can't be stacked}. For Pampers, there were some $2.00 coupons in a recent P&G insert and apparently some regional Target pampers coupons that could be stacked. Even if you don't have any coupons $8.99 is still a good price for name brand diapers...plus the $5 gift card back when you buy 3.

and...Valentines Day is right around the corner. Target has the 24-ct. Wonka Fun Dip classroom gift exchange kits on sale for $3. Use the $1 off coupon from coupons.com to get it for only $2.00.

Creative Corner...Target $1 section

New scrapbooking items in the $1 section at Target!!! When I was in there today I couldn't help but browse the $1 deals! The themes I saw were fall, Halloween, jewel tones, and sports. You can get brads, stickers, paper, felt shapes, ribbon and much more...all to coordinate in each theme. This is just a small sampling of what they have...

Deals of the Day...Target

I made a trip to Target today because I had some coupons expiring that I wanted to use. Plus I had some Target coupons (got them in the mail) that paired nicely with some of those coupons. If I had used no coupons I would have spent $26.10 but instead I only paid....$8.10!!!

If you still have Electrasol coupons I don't think they expire until 10/4 so you could still score this deal...2.79-2.25 coup = .54 cents for 20 dishwasher tabs!

Deals of the Day...CVS & Target

Finally! A moneymaker at CVS this week. I have gone so long with just having to spend my ECBs on stuff so that don't expire, not always making back what I put in. I haven't been impressed with too many of their deals lately. This week I lucked out...they actually had what I went in for and had good coupons. I got 2 Covergirl lip colors (only ECBs back on 1...$5.99, but had a B1G1 coup and $1 off) and Colgate toothpaste (got $2 ECBs and had $1.50 coup). I also used a $2/$10 coup. So, I payed with $4 ECBs and .74 cents.....got back $7.99 ECBs!!!

If you haven't done the Kellogg's $10 rebate yet this is the week to cash in...Target has a deal where if you buy 4 of certain items you get a $5 gift card. All the items in the deal are eligible for the Kellogg's rebate. I only had one set of coupons so I did the best I could with those. I got the 10 items pictured to qualify for the rebate...after sale, coupons, gift cards and rebate I will have made $5.00!

Deals of the Day...Target

I went to Target today to pick up a Cool Mist Humidifier for my daughter's room. While I was there I decided to see what deals I could score with some coupons that were about to expire. The before coupon total for the items pictured was $39.93. My after total was.....$15.18. A few highlights of my deals were Oust for .44 cents, toothpaste for .31 cents each and Similac formula for 12.99 (which was the same price as the Target brand!)!!!

If you joined the Luvs mailing list and have received your coupons in the mail, take advantage of the Target coupon to get some really cheap diapers! I received a $5.00 and $1.00 manufacturer coupon from Luvs paired with the $2.50 off 2 packages of Luvs coupon from Target....these 2 packages were only $3.74 each! The Target coupon is only good til the 15th, so don't delay!

Looks like Pampers are on sale this week for $8.99. Does anyone know if Target does price matching? Could take the CVS ad in and get them for $7.99....if I try it I'll let you all know!

Deals of the Day...Walgreens, Meijer, Target

Yesterday I made it to Walgreens to pick up some of their weekly sale items. Excedrin was on sale for $1.99 and I had $2 off coupons...so 2 boxes for free! I also picked up a Venus razor. It is rumored that they are honoring the ES rebate from last month. I am going to try it, I'll let you know what happens!


Today I had to get to Target for some formula 'cause we were about out. (I think I have mentioned before that we use the Target brand...similar to Enfamil for about half the price...and think it is just great!) I also picked up a couple bags of the Market Pantry frozen chicken breasts for $5.99 each.


Then it was off to Meijer. I was just going in to pick up some lunch meat and fruit. However they were having their 10 for $10 sale with 11th item free. Check out the picture for an idea of what you can get!

Deals of the Day...CVS and Target

Well, yesterday I finally got to CVS for the week. I know some people make it to CVS several times a week or even day to snag up deals but I do good to make it once a week. When I do get there I always keep my fingers crossed that they will have what I want. This time was a success. The best deal was the "Be Fine" skin care packets I had read about on another blog. They are only 1.99 and you get 3 ECBs back!

Next, I was off to Target! My main purpose for going was to pick up formula for my daughter. I have been using the Target brand (similar to Enfamil) for some time now and it seems to work just great. It is about $12 a can, a great bargain compared to the name brand price of about $24. I also picked up a few other things I needed that were on sale this week. My best find was face cleanser. I use Olay facial cleansing cloths...usually around $5 for a box. I found these for $1.61 a box!!! Not clearance or anything, just regular price marked on the shelf! Don't know why the huge markdown but I sure snagged them all up! Plus, I had 2 coupons to take extra off!

Paper Pad

I got this pad of scrapbook paper at Target last week. I always like to browse their scrapbooking section when I am there to see what great deals I can find. My eye is automatically drawn towards the little red stickers!

This paper pad was 1/2 off! It came out to about 10 cents per sheet. The pad comes with 4 sheets each of 12 coordinating designs in a baby girl theme! Perfect for working on my daughters album!

Deals of the Day...Target, Walgreens

I love Target! I can always find great stuff there. Today I got some late Valentine gifts for my sisters...75% off! Plus I got some just too cute pants for my daughter to wear next year...about $1.00 a pair.

Next, I was on to Walgreens. I had a coupon for $3.99 Walgreens brand diapers (haven't tried them before, but for that price who could pass it up!) and .99 wipes. Also, picked up a couple of the BOGO Jane cosmetics using the $2/1 coupon here.
