If you live near a County Market be on the lookout for some coupons in the mail. We got ours today. There is a coupon for something free every week for 8 weeks. You have to purchase a minimum of $10 each time to get the free item. Some of the items are...a dozen eggs, half gallon milk, 12 pack Coke product, and Duncan Hines brownie mix! Toys R Us offers a printable coupon that allows you to get a FREE Thomas Train valued up to $12.99. Valid in stores only.

The hubby came across this coupon last night while checking Slickdeals.net. Little Bit isn't quite ready for this yet but we figured for free we could save it for a year! I did have to pay tax....but a Thomas Train for .85 cents sure is a great deal!!!

Deals of the Day...Meijer, Walgreens

This week at Meijer...select brands of Cheerios are on sale 4/$7! I had some great coupons and was able to get 5 boxes for .90 cents each. Can't beat that...especially with a little one who recently discovered her love of Cheerios!!!

Ortega taco shells, seasonings and salsa are on sale 33% off. I combined that deal with a $1.00 off 2 coupon.

Meijer organic refried beans were on sale for .89 cents. No coupon but good still good deal.

• Huggies wipes 72 or 80 pack - 2/$5 - $1.00 & .50 coupons...plus I got back $2.00 in Register Rewards. I was not expecting this because it was only mentioned for the diapers/little swimmers combo. So this was an added bonus....making my packages of wipes only .75 each!

Menu Plan Monday

Hope everyone had a great weekend and took some time to be with your dad on Father's Day. Little Bit and I went to visit her grandpas Friday and Saturday and then made it back home to spend Sunday with her daddy!

The basement is coming along. It has dried out and mold free as far as we can tell. Now we just have to recarpet and get everything back in order down there.

Now onto this weeks menu. I am trying to get back on track with some new and well-loved recipes, plus use up some of our stockpile!

Monday ~ speedy chicken stir-fry, rolls

Tuesday ~ french toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit

Wednesday ~ meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread

Thursday ~ grilled pork tenderloin, stuffing, salad, bread

Deals of the Day...Walmart

I took a look at all the good deals other bloggers were getting at Walmart and decided to see what I could do with them. I got the items pictured, plus a package of Kotex and 2 small bottles of Old Spice body wash for about $7.00! That is about the price of the Little Swimmers. No menu....basement flooded!

This week I don't have a planned menu...we are just flying by the seat of our pants! Our basement flooded over the weekend so we have lots of other things on our minds. We woke up to about 2-3 inches of water all throughout our basement on Saturday morning...and yes...we have a finished basement! Needless to say the carpet was ruined. Luckily nothing else major was.

Don't know if you can tell or not but the water is about 2 inches high at this point.

This is my scrap area...I lost almost everything on the bottom shelf of the white cube shelf. I keep all my albums upstairs so luckily none of them were ruined.

Looks like Pampers are on sale this week for $8.99. Does anyone know if Target does price matching? Could take the CVS ad in and get them for $7.99....if I try it I'll let you all know!
